We couldn’t possibly ever list all the things we’ve done in our two plus years together. We both admit, we’ve done more together than some do in a lifetime, and for that we are grateful. Ask us about the monkeys! They tend to pop up in the strangest places. But the photo featured above was the best one yet.
Michael and I enjoy adventure. Our first adventure was (outside of the trips, concerts and just bay area general fun) no doubt the designing and building of a dream kitchen. Oddly enough, it was the only room in his beautiful 1947 home that he hadn’t yet renovated- like it was waiting for the right partner… At the time we were in separate homes, but Michael involved me in every decision. It was going to be our kitchen! What a project, but what an amazing collaboration and result. With Michael’s incredible skills in being able to build anything, my eye on design and color, and our vision together, we made our first decisions and compromises, ultimately creating a space of enjoyment. No measurement was too small or detail too unimportant to miss. We both love to entertain and to cook, so the open kitchen plan and well thought-out features welcomes just that.
